Chris received his degree in Real Estate and Finance from The Florida State University in 1987. After graduating he joined the firm of Calhoun and Associates, a statewide appraisal firm which specialized in eminent domain (condemnation). For a short period of time Chris worked in the Clearwater and Ft. Myers offices and in 1988 helped open the Ft. Lauderdale office which was responsible for the East Coast Florida assignments and other areas including the Southeast Coast and Monroe County (Florida Keys).

In 1993 he joined RE Analysts and was responsible for the eminent domain cases and also involved in general commercial appraisals for lending, estates, acquisitions, zoning/land use and litigation. In 1995 he became a principal of RE Analysts and managed the Commercial and Eminent Domain Divisions. Since, he has expanded the appraisal practice to include most areas of Florida.

Since the early 90's Chris has been qualified as an expert witness and has testified many times for eminent domain jury trials, depositions, order of taking hearings, zoning/land use hearings, arbitrations, and other matters. For many real estate appraisal and consulting assignments having an experienced expert witness is invaluable due to the potential for litigaton.

During his career Chris has valued a broad spectrum of property types including vacant residential lots, environmentally sensitive lands, large hotels, retail centers and special purpose properties.

Over his career he has taken pride in using his broad based real estate knowledge to provide quality services including detailed/thorough appraisals and litigation support.
